Bobby grew up in Cedar Park, Texas and graduated from Leander High School in 1955, where he was an All-District running back. He loved attending class and school reunions and maintained relationships with his classmates his entire life.
Bobby was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a big fan of John Wayne. He is best remembered for his love playing dominoes and 42.
When it came to spiritual matters, his relationship with God was private and personal, but very real and very deep. He loved God and knew well what it meant to be a recipient of God's love and forgiveness.
At the time of his death, Bobby was survived by four children: Catherine (Minnick) DePue, Bob Minnick, Jr., Timothy Minnick and Tammy (Minnick) Hutchinson; fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
